Back in January i thought that an apron were a pretty good idea to give to Misha since he loves cooking so much. I also made one for west cause he looked so cute with one in the picture misha once posted of them in aprons.
My plan was to give them to him during his autograph session. I wanted to do it on saturday but since thing i wanted to get signed was my photo-op and that wasnt ready in time i had to do it the next day. On sunday i was in the question queue for his panel. I was the next person to ask a question but i didnt get to it because thats when the panel ended. When Misha said he wasnt gonna be at the closing ceremony i panicked because i still had to give him my presents and so i went to the microphone and asked if he would still be there for the autographs later because i had to give him something and he said “yes i’m glad we had this talk” to which i responded “me too”. It was embarassing and awesome at the same time.
Later when i was at his autograph session he actually fucking remembered me! I died. It went kinda like this:
Me: Hi.
Misha: Oh its you. you wanted to give me something right?
Me: yeah i got some presents.
Misha: I love presents.
Me: I made an apron for you.
Misha: Oh really?
Me: *takes out his apron and shows it* Here.
I actually dont remember exactly what he said then, its kind of a blur, he seemed really happy about it though and thanked me. Then i told him i made one for West too and he said “OH! Show me!” which i did and he loved it. I asked Misha then “Could you hold it up and i make a picture of you with it?” he said “Sure, we can do that!”, and held up the apron i made for West. Then he thanked me again and i did the same, then i was off. That was it, totally worth it :)
Everyone i told this at the con was like “OMG i hope he wears them in the next cooking with west vid.” I’d literally die if that happens, srsly.
Let me explain you a thing.
When I say I adore Misha Collins, I don’t mean because he’s attractive or funny (though that comes into it), I mean because he is a genuinely nice person.
I was at Asylum 10 this weekend, and for Misha’s autographs he wasn’t allowed to personalise things because of time constraints which is fair enough. However, when I was getting mine, I managed to blurt out (I mean it I was shaking really hard) how important it was to meet him, as Asylum 10 was a goal for me not to kill myself.
The second I said that he stopped writing and looked up at me, and his response was:
“You need better goals.” I almost laughed but I was really trying not to cry, so I responded with:
“No. I don’t.” At this point, he reached across the table and grabbed my hand, pen still off the paper. He looked up at me, shaking and almost crying and smiled and said the simplest thing. At this point he let my hand go.
“See you next year?” I nodded, I was shaking really hard and I picked up the picture and went to leave, but he grabbed my hand again and pulled me back a little. He asked for my name and then wrote what it says on the top left hand corner. He squeezed my hand and smiled and then let me go.

Misha said Maison is very cute and that she doesn’t seem quite as sassy as West (who will immediately smile and challenge when told not to do something)
He sings to her, and they have a closer bond than he did with West at that age. Whenever she cries, he’s the only one who can instantly soothe her, which is very gratifying when people are trying to shush her and he’s just like, “give her here, she needs her dad, you don’t know how to do it.”
